Since the launch of the DIY Famine in 2006, the famine campaign has become more diversified and exciting with all the creative DIY camps held throughout the country every year. Today, the annual Hero Rally unites more than 15,000 Taiwanese people to care for the world's poor and other important issues affecting the world.
The 23rd 30 Hour Famine Hero Rally will be held on February 11-12, 2012. Please sign up now and join the other 20,000 famine heroes to fight hunger and care for the poor!
The 23rd 30 Hour Famine Hero Rally
- Venue : National Stadium in Kaohsiung (No.100, Shiyun Blvd., Zuoying Dist., Kaohsiung City)
- Time : Saturday, February 11, 12 PM – Sunday, February 12, 6 PM (30 hours in total; Registration starts at 9:30 AM on February 11)
- Registration Fee:
(1) If you meet any of the following criteria, you can sign up and take part in the Hero Rally free of charge :
- You had completed a DIY famine for the 22nd 30 Hour Famine, but did not attend the Hero Rally in 2011.
- You have done a DIY famine for the 23rd 30 Hour Famine, either in a group or at home for 30 or 12 hours, before February 11-12.
- You will attend a DIY famine after February 12, but have signed up for the 23rd 30 Hour Famine and paid the registration fees one month before the Hero Rally is held.
(2) If you want to skip the DIY famine, please sign up for the Hero Rally and pay NT$1,000 (adults) or NT$500 (students) one month before the Hero Rally is held, and attend the event on February 11 by presenting your payment receipt.
- How to Sign Up :
(1) Please fill in the Hero Rally Registration Form and choose your mode of transport by referring to the Hero Rally Bus Boarding Locations, and complete your payment.
(2) Participants under 18 years old please complete the Parental Consent Form and submit it upon registration at the Hero Rally.
- Documents to be produced upon registration at the Hero Rally:
(1) If you have completed a DIY famine, please present your DIY Famine Certificate, event notice, ID card, and Parental Consent Form (for participants under 18 years old only)
(2) If you have not completed a DIY famine, please present your registration fee payment receipt for DIY famine, event notice, and Parental Consent Form (for participants under 18 years old only).
(3)If you skip the DIY famine and sign up for the Hero Rally directly, please present your registration fee payment receipt for the Hero Rally, event notice, and Parental Consent Form (for participants under 18 years old only).
(4)If you choose to take a bus arranged by World Vision, please present your transport fare payment receipt upon boarding.
(5)An event notice will be posted on World Vision's website in early February.
Individual Sign-up
Please fill in the Hero Rally Registration Form and complete your payment. You and your family and friends will be assigned to the same group at the Hero Rally if you come together and register at the same time.
Group Sign-up
